Precision pins, hardened bushings and structural bosses represent the major segment of Unipart Olsen’s product mix.  The leading category within this segment is the company’s flagship line of pins.  These pins range in length from 4” to 48” with diameters from 0.25” to 6” and are precision ground to +0.0005” diameter.  They are constructed from high carbon or alloy steel and are typically induction hardened and zinc or chrome plated in a controlled and traceable process.  Bushings range from 0.75” to 4” in length and 0.75” to 3.5” in outside diameter.  They are constructed of case hardened low carbon steel and precision machined to +0.0005” outside diameter and +0.001” inside diameter.  All materials that Uniparts Olsen receives from its suppliers are certified with mill identification and heat numbers.  Other, smaller segments of the product mix include tube fabrication as well as miscellaneous precision CNC machined parts.
